Trinic GFRC Admixtures - Glass Fiber Reinforced Concrete

Video Transcript

Concrete Admixtures made by Trinic, used to handcraft beautiful pieces of awesome concrete furniture.

In today's video we're going to explain the different admixtures that TRINIC makes and their uses. We started this admixture company to address the problems that we're having with GFRC / glass fiber reinforced concrete, we wanted all powder add mix that was a blend of ingredients, number one, number two we wanted to eliminate the molding the freezing, the problems with shipping, problems with separation, so we developed from scratch a blended powders, not just a polymer and other ingredients add mix to make GFRC.

How to Bend Concrete - using special concrete mix to achieve this cool effect which can be used in various concrete table pieces and other decorative applications.

Surecrete Design Products Tips and tricks - Bending Xtreme Series Precast. Xtreme Series precast has some amazing properties but the singular property that is genuinely dumbfounding is its ability to bend the  Precast is mixed as always up the precast mix is poured into a flexible mold base. In this case, a short piece a fiberglass roof panel is used. After waiting between 15 and 45 minutes the mold maybe bent.

Rhomba Garden Bench Design

Video Transcript

This is probably the most popular garden concrete bench design video on the internet, enjoy watching.

Hi I'm futon Chang here with concrete Network, these are outdoor living projects made with Chang GFRC. I'm sitting on the Romo bench that I designed for Chang concrete I love this bench because it is so deceptively simple in its construction and it's made out of just two by fours basically redwood two by fours that have been stained and it's the configuration of the two by fours that make the

DR CB1ST2 Concrete Side Table

Although I designed DR CB1ST2 Concrete Side Table  to complement my first concrete bench, it can be used as a standalone table or combined with any piece of interior or exterior furniture. The concrete is poured into the two interlaced sections in 2 phases to create this one piece design. The pedestal and table slab cannot be disassembled.

All concrete surfaces are sealed with 4 coats of high-performance sealer available in semi-gloss or matte finish. The sealer is a penetrable type and provides an excellent stain, acid, and scratch resistance of concrete surfaces.

The entire concrete cocktail table weights approximately 280 lbs and it comes with padding material attached to its bottom surface. With padding it is fairly easily movable on any smooth surface like hardwood or laminated floor - always use assistance when attempting to move this table.

Make sure the floor surface, along the path the table will be pushed, is free of small hard objects such as stones or even sand. They might get caught underneath the bottom surface or padding and damage your floor.

DO NOT TILT THIS SIDE TABLE - always keep it leveled in up-right position to prevent it from tipping over and to avoid serious injury or damage to table and its surroundings, especially when re-positioning. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO SEAT ON SIDE TABLE'S OVERHANGING SURFACE to prevent possibility of tipping over / you can use its top-square section for seating.

If you are placing it on carpet, paved patio, wood decking, or other similar surfaces, we recommend help of at least two people capable of lifting over 280 lbs. Utility / hand truck or dolly capable of supporting such weight would be also helpful. Pushing or pulling concrete side table on uneven surfaces could result in damage to the table and floor surface itself.

DR CB1ST2 concrete side table will be delivered inside a crate.

We highly recommend help of at least two people when opening the crate and moving this concrete side table at your location.

It's so exiting to see product of your imagination become the real thing. This is my second conference room table I designed for the Canadian labour union "CLAC". Just like with the first boardroom table, I didn't have a chance to participate in the process of carving it from wood, steel and concrete. However, the two guys from Hammertown Industrial Furniture in Canada did, again, an awesome job turning this design into a piece of art.

Enjoy the pictures below and let me know if you need a unique design of a conference room table, dining room table, or some other furniture for your home or office.

My recent project is a set of two asymmetric wood and concrete console tables designed with left and right curve top. Solid wood strips of various species have been used to create this delicate curve and achieve unique pattern that carries from the console’s top onto the supporting leg.

The corner joint in both of those console tables is encapsulated with charcoal concrete shell that matches “L” shaped concrete block supporting this entire composition.

Wooden top and shorter leg of the concrete block are fused together with hidden anchors while 3 copper pipes protruding from the longer side of concrete support embed itself into the side edge. Another, diamond shaped copper accent appears alongside the vertical concrete edge of the right curved concrete console table. The left curved wood and concrete console table has copper accent embedded into the bottom corner of its concrete block.

The wooden slabs are 2” thick x 6” wide and had been sealed with 3 coats of polyurethane for a silky-smooth surface (matte finish).

Concrete surface has been treated with 3 coats of high performance, penetrating sealer in matte finish.

This concrete and wood console table can be used:

• keys and wallet drop-off point

• photos and art pieces stand

• as a stand-alone piece of art

• narrow hallway accent

• as a sofa table

The entire concrete console table enhanced with wooden top and supporting leg weighs approximately 185lbs.

The concrete console table dimensions are:

• 32” tall

• 50 ¾” long

• “L” shaped concrete - 2” thick x 12” shorter edge x 22” longer edge

• Wooden slabs are 2” thick x 6” wide
